What’s your best non-overclocking achievement? That’d
probably be moving away from home to study at the
university in Stockholm.
What’s your highest world ranking and where are you
now? According to HWBot my highest world ranking was
28th, current ranking is 113th. However, if you compare
the results in the various live world wide overclocking
competitions I’ve participated in I should rank a bit better.
What’s your favourite song? I can listen to most music,
but currently my favourite is the Dirty South remix of U2
– I’ll go crazy if I don’t go crazy tonight.
What’s your favourite band? I don’t really have a favourite
band but Daft Punk and Röyksopp are really good.
What’s the best thing about overclocking?
The way it shows how technology is improving all the
time and also all the very friendly people I’ve had the
pleasure of meeting because of it.
What’s the worst thing about overclocking? The dramas
surrounding it sometimes.

THE BIG INTERVIEW
What annoys s you about the overclocking scene at the
moment? All the problems with cherry hardware. I think it
should be allowed because I really want to see these insane
frequencies and results that are possible with them but at
the same time there is the problem that not everyone can
get them. Sampsa and I made a statement though to not
use these kinds of processors when competing on HWBot
and I hope others will follow.
What’s the best thing about the overclocking scene at the
moment? That the manufacturers are organizing bigger and
better events and competitions all the time and also all the
great people surrounding the overclocking scene.
Which oveclockers do you admire? There are quite a few:
Kinc and crotale for their knowledge and professionalism,
hipro for being a great person and his crazy modifi cations
(and dance moves), Trouffman for being crazy himself (and
the awesome OCTV streams), hicookie for being so friendly
and his great work with Gigabyte and SF3D + sampsa for
being Finnish.
Which overclockers bother you? No one really, but people
are weird sometimes.
Anything else you’d like to say? I just hope the overclocking
scene can continue to be as friendly as it is for the most part
today and that we can continue to meet up at competitions
and party like real overclockers do.
Triumphant with SF3D at GOOC 2008.
