Here at G24i we are personalising solar energy for the global
community. We are the first company in the world to commercially
manufacture lightweight, flexible Dye Sensitised Thin Film solar
cells at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Cardiff.
As we enter the next stage in our development, a number of
exciting opportunities have arisen for talented specialists with a
strong background in continuous process manufacturing.
Process Engineer – Extrusion Specialist
Experience of driving forward new developments into production
with a focus on scale-up will be important. A background in
high precision extrusion in thermo plastics, thin film or medical
products is preferable along with previous experience of extrusion
of filaments on polymer or foil substrates.
Process Engineer – Web Handling
A background in thin film, foil or paper processing is required,
ideally supported by experience in design of special purpose web
handling equipment, slitting, coating and laminating technology.
Future Opportunities
In-line with our planned expansion we will
soon have opportunities for Chemical,
Electronic Engineers and Technicians
with a Web handling background.
