IN A WORD...
Roger Peters, category manager,
Xchanging
What is the key message you will take
away with you from today?
The increase in Air Passenger Duty from
November. This is something that I do
not think has been publicised enough.
What did you think of this year’s
CWT Exchange?
I like the format and I like the speakers.
Tim Hames puts it together very well.
There is a good sense of balance with
humour and useful information.
Gerry Flanaghan, VP Corporate Travel,
Shell
What are the key messages you will
take away with you from today?
There is a lot of pain, but there is also
a great deal of opportunity for even
closer dialogue. Working together
with hoteliers in terms of security...
The importance of compliance...
How travel is now at board level...
What did you think of this year’s
CWT Exchange?
Excellent quality of speakers. Great
networking opportunities – and it’s
good to see companies surviving.
Jo Fildew, group travel manager,
RWE NPower
What are the key messages you will
take away with you from today?
It’s great to speak to people at a
‘grass roots’ level. You can ask specific
questions and get direct answers. It’s
like an industry update – but straight
from the horse’s mouth.
What did you think of this year’s
CWT Exchange?
The best thing about the event is that
you haven’t got people selling to you
all the time. Because it’s just buyers,
it allows for a very open, honest
environment with like-minded people.
