MAGAZINE WEEK ONLINE
New for 2007 was
www.magazineweek.net, launched
to support the inaugural Magazine
Week, the initiative to celebrate the
industry's diversity and inspire the
public to go out and grab a magazine.
The site featured a directory of all
the magazines available through the
newstrade and encouraged people to
ask newsagents to reserve copies of
their favourite magazines for them.
JOIN THE REVOLUTION
The launch of PPA Marketing’s
Revolution campaign was
supported by the launch of
www.magazinerevolution.co.uk ,

to put magazines at the heart of
their campaigns.

two years.

the UK’s fastest growing B2B media

FIT FOR THE FUTURE
AOP CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
In 2002, the Association of Online
Publishers (AOP) was formed out
of PPAi. PPAi is a corporate member
of AOP. AOP is an industry body
representing online publishing
companies that create original,
branded, quality content. AOP
champions the interests of
approximately 160 publishing
companies from diverse
backgrounds including newspaper
and magazine publishing, TV
and radio broadcasting, and pure
online media.
INTERACTIVE / 17
MOVING FORWARD, PPA is developing a
new integrated online solution to
manage membership and improve
online communications.
Unifying website and back-office
systems will enable PPA to provide a
number of new member-only
benefits online. PPA will increase
the relevance of communications to
different member groups and create
community areas where members
can get advice on specific issues
from their peers. PPA is also
launching PPAtv to spread the
knowledge and insights from PPA
events that members aren’t able
to attend.
“I’m excited to be taking on the chair of
PPAi at a time when digital media is
enjoying a level of attention within the
magazine publishing business not seen
since the early days of the web and the
dotcom boom.”
Louise White, group marketing director for Incisive
Media, chair of PPAinteractive (PPAi).
