Reliability Engineer
Cabot Plastics have an opportunity of an experienced
Reliability Engineer, to have responsibility for identifying
long term solutions for operational equipment
problems using such techniques as RCA and FMECA.
You will work in conjunction with other engineering
departments to develop and implement maintenance
strategies that will drive sustainable improvements
in reliability and maximise up time as part of overall
equipment effectiveness
Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or
equivalent, you will have practical experience of
engineering aspects of plant and equipment, engineering
standards, best practice and planned maintenance
systems within a modern manufacturing environment.
You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to
attain up time improvements by utilising reliability
techniques. With excellent communication and
interpersonal skills you will be have run cross-functional
teams to facilitate reliability centre maintenance studies
in order to develop maintenance strategies.

Instrumentation Technician/Engineer
At Drax, we’re fully committed to the

At present we’re looking for a
self-motivated, confident and assertive
individual who is comfortable working
as a member of a team. Maintenance
and modification of process computing
hardware and software, and installation
of new systems will be at the heart of
what you do. You will also be involved in
managing contracts and budgets and
liaising with suppliers, manufacturers
and internal contacts. And, with a key
role in technical and safety guidance,
you’ll carry out plant inspections and
fault diagnosis.
With experience in a similar role either
at a power station or a similar process
plant, you’ll already have a degree or an
HNC level technical qualification. In
addition to being tenacious and flexible,
you’ll be skilled at producing written
specifications, reports and guidelines.
