The judges have now made their decision on the
shortlist for the European Supply Chain Excellence
Awards 2008 – and what a short list it is! Some 35
companies have been selected for entry into the finals this
year, making it the biggest contest in the 12-year history of
these internationally acclaimed Awards.
Take a look at our finalists (listed below) to see the wide
range of companies involved from across Europe. But this is
just the first hurdle for our contestants. Further
questionnaires will have to be answered, additional data and
material submitted, and a series of in-depth interviews will be
conducted over the next few weeks, all the results of which
will be put before a final judging roundtable in October.

Only on the Awards Night, to be held on Tuesday 28th
October at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, will the
winners be announced. This is the biggest prize in supply
chain management in Europe, so leading practitioners from
across the continent and senior management from related
industries attend to see the winners collect their trophies
and join in the largest networking event of its type.
As at last year’s highly successful event, over 400 supply
chain professionals are expected to attend the Awards
ceremony – that’s full capacity for the venue. So it would be
wise to secure your booking early to avoid disappointment.
