SIPP made easier
Standard Life are delighted at achieving eee ratings
for SIPP, SIPP Specialist and Individual Pensions.

make it easier to do business.
We have particularly focused on improving our
SIPP e-services during the last year to allow you to
quote, apply online, track new business, buy, sell
and switch funds, review your client’s portfolio
and create a client report. All our e-services are
aimed to make selling and servicing our SIPP
as easy as possible for you and giving you a great
online experience.
Quotes
Our easy to use quotation service allows you to quote
online for transfers, regular and single payments.
All SIPP online quotations are stored for 90 days.
The online quotation saves you time by only
displaying the fields relevant to the quotation
you are completing
Quick Application
With our Quick Application Forms we can now save
you even more time when completing application
forms. The Quick Application Form is pre-populated
with details from your quote and is shortened
by only showing the fields that are relevant to your
quotation. Of course you can also print off a full
application form which is also pre-populated
with details from your quote.
Online New Business with the incentive
For greater accuracy, control and efficiency many
advisers are submitting SIPP new business to us
online. We designed an easy to use application
with the flexibility to fit your existing sales process.
Your quotation details pre-populate the online
new business application and you can print off an
outstanding information report should you need
to capture more information from your client.
All information is validated online to ensure
no delays due to missing or incorrect data. This
data then populates our processing systems and
a policy number is allocated instantly, helping
you track the progress of your case. The confirmation
schedule can then be printed off or saved
electronically. We even generate a submission
letter with a policy number should you need to send
us any documentation.
Standard Life are currently running an incentive
to reward advisers for submitting SIPP business
online. For every SIPP case submitted online,
as a thank you, we are supplying two bottles
of wine to the person within the adviser firm
that submitted the case online. The campaign
ends 30th June, 2009.
Tracking
You can track the progress of your submitted cases
either at the client level, or for your entire agency.
If looking at your entire agency, you will also find
details of what cases have gone live over the past
30 days, including full commission details.
Review & Service
If you are looking for plan information, then the
SIPPZone allows you to simply enter the client’s
policy number and you will be taken straight
into their plan details.
You can then obtain client and plan information,
current and past plan valuations, current investment
choice, client reports, details of any cash transactions,
payments in and out and request a Certificate of
Premiums Paid.
Fund Switch, Buy and Selling
This service allows you to buy, sell and switch funds
on behalf of your client. You will be asked to accept
terms and conditions before you process so we don’t
need to request your Client’s signature. You will
see the effect of the transaction on the client’s bank
account immediately and our straight-through
pro cessing provides your client with the next
available fund price.
To make it easier for you to keep track of cases, our
tracking service lets you see when these trades settle.
The tracking service is available for both online and
paper fund switches, buying and selling.
Tools
Use the Risk Assessment Questionnaire and the Portfolio
Planning asset allocation tool to assess your
client’s attitude to risk. For holistic retirement plann -
ing, you can use our Client Planner to help manage
your client’s finances both leading up to and in
retirement.
