Welcome
from Lindsay Hopkins
Welcome to the AIPP’s fourth annual
Consumer Guide and Members Directory.
The AIPP was set up in 2006 with the
aim of establishing clear standards and
a code of practice for companies in the
international property arena to follow.
Members have pooled resources
and collated a set of best-practice
templates, with a shared aim of
raising professional standards.
If you are purchasing abroad, be
reassured that every Member of the AIPP
has a Code of Conduct to follow and is
committed to helping a purchase go through
safely, with customer care being a key focus
every step of the way. AIPP’s membership
is growing all the time and we take great
pride in working to help you purchase
international property with confi dence.
This guide is intended to give you some
useful guidelines on buying property
overseas and some practical steps to
follow at each stage of the process. It will
also show you what to ask when buying
overseas and who to turn to for help.
It’s an essential reference guide that you
should keep at your side throughout your
search for your dream property overseas.
