Senior Design Engineer
Circa £30,000 dependent on experience
If you are an experienced and imaginative product designer,
you can really make your mark with a fast-developing
organisation. As our name suggests, Visiocorp delivers
a broad range of vision solutions, audio components and
accessories to the international automotive industry, and
we bring together the talent of more than 5000 people in 21
locations across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Applying your experience in product development and
proven leadership skills you will be responsible in leading
our engineering teams developing cost-effective and
innovative solutions within tight timescales. Equally
importantly, you’ll oversee all technical aspects of the
product development cycle, utilising cutting-edge CAD and
development tools and techniques.
Naturally, you’re capable of preparing detailed specifications,
timing plans and having strong problem solving skills. The
ability to work alongside the Project Team, originating
persuasive proposals for senior management and dealing
directly with customers to interpret and meet their
requirements is essential. Your experience of CAD (ideally
Catia V5) should speak for itself, and you will bring a proven
track record of taking ideas from initiation to manufacturing,
backed by an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Finally, you will be skilled in plastic component design and
team leadership, and you’ll ideally be familiar with injection
mould tool design – or ready to learn fast.
If you are interested in this position and believe you have the
commitment and enthusiasm, please forward your CV to
vcuk-recruitment@visiocorp.com or write to Visiocorp UK Ltd,
Castle Trading Estate, East Street, Portchester PO16 9SD.
