Terra gets tested
The Terra Mount Blocker has been
successfully crash tested to BSI PAS
68: 2007. The blocker is suitable for
sites with restrictions on available
foundation depths. The test was
conducted to prove the arresting
capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra
Mount Blocker when impacted with
a 7,500kg test vehicle at a speed of
80km/hour (50mph). On impact, the
Terra Mount Blocker brought the
vehicle to a complete halt with zero
penetration on to site or past the
impacted face of the unit.

Go Solo with Borg Locks
The Solo is a brand new system of mechanical
coded door controls from Borg Locks.
Utilising a single column of buttons the
Solo features a patented sequential coding
chamber which has been designed and
developed in the UK. The Solo Borg also
offers a new system for code changing which
eliminates the need to remove any parts from
the coding chamber while also ensuring that
the keypad does not need to be removed from
the door. With 70° of handle rotation, the Solo
has been designed primarily with PVC-U
applications in mind but it is equally well
suited for use on commercial aluminium
sections and traditional timber doors thanks
to its narrow 40mm width. The 8mm square
drive followers mean the Solo can be supplied
on its own for fitment with a third party
locking device or with any one of the
company’s range of lockcases and latches.
